Migration is Beautiful

Much like the monarch, we as humans turn to migration in search of survival. As a daughter of immigrants, I am grateful for the many opportunities I have as a result of my family's courage and resilience. Migration is beautiful...

And this is where our journey begins.

  1. Thanks for creating this nice page. My story in few words...I moved from Venezuela in 1990, even when I was US citizen and spoke English , it was difficult for me to find employment , because I had a medical degree, and I got divorced and had to raise my son on my own. Because of the difficulty to pass the Foreign Medical Graduates test, I gave up on my medical career, and completed a masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, but meanwhile I had to do different jobs , like a regular immigrant, I did a training in child-care and did that for few years, and worked cleaning offices and other administrative jobs. Now when I have been living in USA for almost 26 years, I encourage others to work hard to pursue their dreams and goals, and never give up!
